Admission Criteria

RISAT stands for Research Institute of Science and Technology and we fully intend to be all about science and technology. We are one of the most selective universities in the world and aim that our graduates to be the very best in the world in science and technology.  A student applying to RISAT must have:

• a very strong background in mathematics

• a strong background in physics and science

• ability to read and understand English

• a strong commitment to excellence 

Application Criteria

• A GPA above 8.0/10

• A passing grade in the Mathematics Admission Test

Application

• An essay no longer than 4 pages describing your interests

• 2 letters of recommendation from teachers sent directly to RISAT

• Passing grade on the Mathematics Admission Test 

Notification

Risat will notify its candidates on the following dates:

• Fall 2022:   April 15, 2022

• Winter 2023: October 15, 2022

Notice that RISAT admits a very small number of students. If you are planning to apply to RISAT you should start your application process months in advance.
